I'm interested to see what this challenge will reveal to us since a) we have already pared down quite a bit in the past year especially, b) I'm home most of the time and T has a "work uniform", c) I pretty much dress with the same basic pieces in different colors at this point anyway, as I'm constantly aware of what is easiest to nurse Bird in and what's easily washable should she spit-up/poop on me.
Here are the rules that the experiment was based on and that we will follow for the month of August:
We're going to finalize our six (we started discussing/deciding last night, trying to take into account what events August holds) this week and then on Sunday, its on!Starting Monday, June 21st 2010, a group of people from California to Dubai are going to take part in a little experiment: each participant gets to choose six (and only six) items of clothing and pledge to wear onlythese six items of clothing for a month. They’ll share their experiences here at sixitemsorless.comThere are exceptions that don’t count towards the six: undergarments, swim wear, work-out clothes, work uniforms, outer jackets (rain slicker, outdoor jacket), shoes and accessories. You can get multiples of the same item for laundry purposes, but different colors count as separate items. Or you can tell us to stuff it and make your own rules.
