5k racing prep

T and I decided last October to run a 5k within the next year.

Well folks, the weather has finally turned nice around these parts and we have started our training. We're following this workout plan in order to get ready for this race on July 25th.

I'm really excited as I've never been a distance runner before. I know that 5k isn't all that far but it will be hard work for me but something that is attainable if I'm prepared.

I'll keep you posted on how our training goes, Saturday was Day 1.
