Dinner guest

Tonight we had CD over for dinner!

We haven't been able to spend much time with her or her fiance and now that he, J, has moved to Dallas and she will soon be following him after their July wedding, we figured we'd better get in our visiting while we can.

CD came over and enjoyed playing with our little Bird while we cooked and ate dinner and dessert. We tried a new recipe from Real Simple circa the Jan. 2009 issue, "Pulled Pork Tacos". It was delicious. Then we had strawberry shortcake and grapes for dessert. All in all a great meal that left me stuffed, more than satisfied.
